A pair of boobies… I wasn’t quite satisfied with my first one and boobies should come in pairs so I made another.
I also made an instructional video about checking your boobies, very important… don;t worry if one booby is slightly bigger than the other. This is natural.

He’s a pleasant pheasant … he looks like he’s in a bit of a hurry, I feel like he needs a bowler hat and a newspaper tucked under one wing!
There might be a few flamingos in this project I love making them and I can’t seem to ever be 100% happy with a flamingo I’ve made.

It’s been a little while since my last blog, the Kickstarter went crazy and I couldn’t keep up… and then it ended over 1000% funded! I’ve been plodding along, catching up with all the things I missed and all the boring stuff that goes into running a business.
Here’s the 5th bird, Heron… I’ll catch up with my posts over the next week hopefully. There should be some longer posts with a few birds coming up until I catch up with myself.
Chaffinch is one of my favourite birds… I saw one in the park and had to make him. I’ve made many chaffinches in the past but this guy has something cheeky about him! His little chum blue tit has always been a favourite of mine… to make and to watch. Both are full of personality! There’s now a little over a week left on my Kickstarter project… I have a lot of work ahead of me but I am excited by the challenge!
He’s not quite finished yet but he’s a cutie. He needs a feet perch and my cold addled brain can’t quite work out how the drill works so I’m waiting till I have a few and doing all their perches at the same time.
Much amusement has been gained from me walking around the house shouting “FLAMIN’ GALAH!” alot… although I suspect the only one amused is me! 
My Kickstarter got off to a flying start… just over a week in and over 1000% funded… yes, you read that right!
After a slow start due to personal reasons I’m now getting into making the birds, here’s the first one, an Adelie Penguin nestled along the beads I use to make my birds.
Things have gone so well that I have had to add another 100 birds to the project so it’s quite big and scary but I’m p for the challenge!
Hello again!
It’s been quite a while since I last posted here, my plan to have a bird a day month every year was sidelined last year by events beyond my control but this year I am back with a brand new, ambitious project.
I’m taking part in Kickstarter’s Make 100 project to bring 100 unique birds into the world in the style of the original bird a day project. I’ll be posting the birds here as I make them, so please check out the project page on kickstarter.
